Life Sciences Fellowships Program

The Life Sciences Fellowships Program was established in academic year 1999-2000 as part of the University of Missouri's Life Sciences Mission Enhancement effort.

Currently, doctoral fellowships are available through the Life Sciences Program. Doctoral fellowships for the 2011-12 academic year carry a stipend of $23,000 - $25,000 plus tuition waiver and health insurance. Doctoral fellows are generally funded for four years, with evidence of satisfactory performance and progress.

If you are considering doctoral degree programs at MU, the following links to our life science academic units are provided for your convenience, as well as a link to the MU Web site home page. Students cannot directly apply for Life Science Fellowships, but may be recommended for funding by the department in which they are admitted for study. Funding decisions are made by faculty committees representing a variety of life science departments.
