Programming Cellular Development

Mission: To understand how animal cells are directed along developmental lineages and the manner by which the local environment intercedes to drive or disrupt the programming of normal development.

Translation: How do we send a message to stem cells that it's time to specialize or change function, and how can these events go wrong.
