Using Pig Models to Study Immune Response

John Driver Lab

Research Interests

The Driver lab uses genetically edited pig models to investigate immune responses. They study the development and maintenance of pulmonary immunity, focused on understanding the role played by unconventional T cell types in establishing immune homeostasis in the respiratory tract as well as their contribution to host resistance against pathogens that are important for swine and human health.
